Fast. Flexible. Liquid Fertilizer.

Give crops nearly instant access to the nutrients they need and ensure a consistent application across every acre.

Staying Power for All Your Crops

Nutrien Calcium Ammonium Nitrate, also known as CAN17, is a powerful, fast-acting fertilizer containing two forms of nitrogen for a quick response plus sustained feeding. CAN17 is a non-pressurized, odorless liquid that’s simple to store and apply to a variety of crops.

11.6% nitrate

The 11.6% nitrate-nitrogen in CAN17 provides fast-acting nitrogen for immediate uptake, while the 5.4% ammonic nitrogen acts as a reserve for sustained feeding.

8.8% soluble calcium

CAN17 improves water penetration, allowing available N and moisture to move easily into the root zone. Plus, calcium is critical for crop quality, promoting healthy cell development in fruits, roots and tubers.

Non-pressurized

Unlike liquid ammonia, CAN17 isn’t stored under pressure. That makes storage and application easier, while adding flexibility. It’s also less corrosive than other nitrogen options, so it’s easier on your equipment.

Non-volatile

Unlike urea solutions, all of the nitrogen in CAN17 is non-volatile, so it stays right where you apply it. No more worrying about lost nitrogen investments.

Easy to apply

Spray CAN17 on the soil surface with a ground rig or inject it into the main line of your irrigation system. No matter how you apply it, you’ll see strong results.

The Proof Is in the Harvest.

If there’s one thing that fruit, vegetable and nut growers know, it’s that quality counts. That’s why they’ve relied on the original CAN17 since 1955 to get the most from their crops.
